Be responsible for all to aspects of a sale, including product evaluation, pricing negotiations, contract development, ensuring successful product fulfillment and payment according to the contractual agreement.

Create and develop relationships with transit agencies, school districts and private fleet operators to ensure responsiveness and eliminate competition on bids.

Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory.

Working with the Manufacturer’s Representatives to grow existing business and proactively search for new business.

Maintain an understanding of the company’s processes including parts, service, and warranty and accounting procedures.

Follow internal processes to properly document all activities.

Maintain detailed account profiles and activities and update management on account status, business opportunities and trends on a regular basis.

Interface with Sales Administrator for pre & post sales product related issues.

Forecast and track sales of existing accounts.

Travel and make sales calls within assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Represent company at trade association meetings to promote product.

This position will have authority to make decisions specific to the area of responsibility they are assigned to. This will include overall supervision of each bid and ensure communication with the Sales Administrator. Total success of each bid, order and payment will be the Regional Manager’s full responsibility.
